This Berber carpet called Azilal gets its name from the Azilal region in Morocco where it was handcrafted on a traditional wooden loom. Its patterns represent the moods, loves, and sorrows of the weaver at the time of its creation. Once this colorful Berber carpet is created, she will craft another one completely different, based on her current emotions. Each piece is therefore unique.

Our carpets with a white background and colorful designs are always with a white wool background. The colors can be either cotton or wool. The very bright colors are generally in cotton and the colors with a more natural appearance are in wool. Our fully colored carpets are 100% wool.

DELIVERY

All packages are sent from France. No customs fees are expected for orders placed in a country within the European Union. For orders placed in a non-EU country, customs fees may apply.

We deliver worldwide and all orders are shipped every 7 to 15 days.

For France: it is possible to choose delivery to a pick-up point with Mondial Relay or home delivery with Colissimo.

For the rest of the world: the delivery cost varies depending on the country. Simply add the carpet to your cart, enter your address, and the delivery cost will be precisely indicated.

RETURN

You have a 14-day cooling-off period from the delivery of your package to request an exchange, credit, or refund.

For France:

- You want an exchange/credit: everything is free (return and delivery of the new package are at our expense)

- You want a refund: the return is at your expense

For the rest of the world:

- You want an exchange: the return of the package is at your expense and the delivery of the new package is at our expense

Surprisingly, Berber carpets are easy to maintain. Keep in mind that these pieces full of history are not primarily intended to be a decorative object. Berber women weave and use them as blankets or rugs for insulation. The exceptional quality of the weaving allows Berber carpets to last over time and age very well.

To maintain it, you can vacuum it once a week at most to avoid damaging the wool. If you cannot shake it, turn it over for a few hours once a month, and all the deep-seated dust will fall out. In case of a stain, immediately pat it with a cloth soaked in water, often that's enough. Otherwise, add some alcohol vinegar or Marseille soap with plenty of water.
