This Berber rug called Azilal takes its name from the Azilal region in Morocco where it was handcrafted on a traditional wooden loom. Its patterns represent the moods, loves, and sorrows of the weaver at the time of creation. Once this colorful Berber rug is created, she will make another one totally different, based on her emotions at the time. Each piece is therefore unique.

Our rugs with a white background and colorful designs always have a white wool background. The colors can be either cotton or wool. The very bright colors are generally cotton, and the colors with a more natural look are wool. Our fully colored rugs are 100% wool.

DELIVERY

All packages are sent from France. No customs fees are expected for orders placed in a European Union country. For orders placed in a non-EU country, customs fees may apply.

We deliver worldwide, and all orders are shipped every 7 to 15 days.

For France: you can choose delivery to a pick-up point with Mondial Relay or home delivery with Colissimo.

For the rest of the world: the delivery cost varies by country. Simply add the rug to your cart, enter your address, and the delivery cost will be precisely indicated.

You have a 14-day cooling-off period from the delivery of your package to request an exchange, credit, or refund.

For France:

Surprisingly, Berber rugs are easy to maintain. It should be kept in mind that these historically charged pieces are not primarily intended as a decorative object. Berber women weave and use them as blankets or rugs for insulation. The exceptional weaving quality allows Berber rugs to stand the test of time and age very well.

To maintain it, you can vacuum it once a week at most to avoid aggressing the wool. If you can't shake it, turn it over for a few hours once a month, all deep-seated dust will fall out. In case of a stain, pat it immediately with a cloth soaked in water, often that's enough. Otherwise, add some rubbing alcohol or Marseille soap with plenty of water.
