These bowls are made by craftsmen in the Sajnane region of Tunisia. They collect their Unesco World Heritage-listed clay from the mountains, shape it by hand, fire the pottery over a wood fire before polishing it by rubbing it with shells.
These creations, steeped in history, are then sent to France. The talented ceramist decorates these rough pieces in keeping with the nomadic spirit and ethnic origins.
