This Berber rug called Azilal gets its name from the Azilal region in Morocco where it was handcrafted on a traditional wooden loom. Its patterns represent the moods, loves, and sorrows of the weaver at the time of its creation. Once this colorful Berber rug is created, she will make another one completely different, based on her current emotions. Each piece is therefore unique.

Delivery and Returns

DELIVERY

All packages are sent from France. No customs fees are expected for orders placed in a European Union country. For orders placed in a non-EU country, customs fees may apply.

We deliver worldwide and all orders are shipped every 7 to 15 days.

For France: delivery is free at a pickup point and chargeable for home delivery.

For the rest of the world: delivery costs vary by country. Simply add the rug to your cart, enter your address, and the delivery cost will be precisely indicated.

RETURNS

You have a 14-day cooling-off period from the delivery of your package to request an exchange, credit, or refund.

For France:

- If you want an exchange/credit: everything is free (return and delivery of the new package are at our expense)

- If you want a refund: the return is at your expense

For the rest of the world:

- If you want an exchange: the return of the package is at your expense and the delivery of the new package is at our expense

How to Care for a Wool Berber Rug?

Surprisingly, Berber rugs are easy to maintain. Keep in mind that these historically charged pieces are not primarily meant to be decorative objects. Berber women weave and use them as blankets or rugs for insulation. The exceptional quality of the weaving allows Berber rugs to last over time and age very well.

To maintain it, you can vacuum it once a week at most to avoid agitating the wool. If you can't shake it, turn it over for a few hours once a month, all the deep-seated dust will fall out. In case of a stain, immediately pat it with a cloth soaked in water, often that's enough. Otherwise, add some white vinegar or Marseille soap with plenty of water.
