The sheep's wool, carefully selected, is dyed using natural pigments in a traditional way. After weaving, each rug is thoroughly washed multiple times, a skill that reveals the unique softness and flexibility of Mrirt wool.

This Berber carpet called Mrirt gets its name from the Mrirt region in Morocco where it was handcrafted on a traditional wooden loom. Its patterns represent the weaver's moods, loves, and sorrows at the time of its creation. Once this colorful Berber carpet is created, she will then make another one completely different, based on her current emotions. Each piece is therefore unique.

All packages are sent from France. No customs fees apply to orders placed within a European Union country. For orders placed outside the EU, customs fees may apply.

We deliver worldwide, and all orders are shipped every 7 to 15 days.

For France: you can choose delivery to a pickup point with Mondial Relay or home delivery with Colissimo.

For the rest of the world: delivery costs vary by country. Simply add the carpet to your cart, enter your address, and the delivery cost will be clearly indicated.

You have 14 days from the delivery of your package to request an exchange, credit note, or refund.

How to Care for a Wool Berber Carpet?

Surprisingly, Berber carpets are easy to maintain. It is important to remember that these historically rich pieces are not primarily intended as decorative objects. Berber women weave and use them as blankets or rugs for insulation. The exceptional quality of the weaving allows Berber carpets to withstand the test of time and age gracefully.

To care for it, you can vacuum it once a week at most to avoid damaging the wool. If you cannot shake it, turn it over for a few hours once a month; this will allow any deep-seated dust to fall off. In case of a stain, dab it immediately with a cloth soaked in water, as this often suffices. Otherwise, add some white vinegar or Marseille soap with plenty of water.
