Them is a selection of handmade items that I find all over the world. There are ceramics, throws, plant pots, but above all, Berber rugs. A lot of Berber rugs. I work directly with artisans. For example, for Berber rugs, I regularly go to the beautiful Middle Atlas mountains in Morocco. So I buy my Berber rugs directly from the source, from the women weavers. No purchases at the Maison & Objet fair. No purchases in the souks of Marrakech where many intermediaries have intervened and inflated the price. It's a different way of working but it allows me to control the artisans' remuneration. In my view, it is the women weavers of Berber rugs who have the talent. So that was an essential point for me. It also allows me to buy at a fair price in order to offer my customers fair and affordable prices.
