This Berber carpet called Azilal gets its name from the Azilal region in Morocco, where it was handcrafted on a traditional wooden loom. Its patterns represent the weaver's moods, loves, and sorrows at the time of its creation. Once this colorful Berber carpet is made, she will create another one, completely different, based on her current emotions. Each piece is therefore unique.

Our carpets with a white background and colorful designs always have a white wool background. The colors can be either cotton or wool. The very bright colors are usually cotton, while the colors that have a more natural look are wool. Our fully colored carpets are 100% wool.

DELIVERY

All packages are sent from France. No customs fees are expected for orders placed in a European Union country. For orders placed in a non-EU country, customs fees may apply.

We deliver worldwide, and all orders are shipped every 7 to 15 days.

For France: delivery is free at a pick-up point and chargeable at home.

For the rest of the world: the delivery cost varies by country. Simply add the carpet to your cart, enter your address, and the delivery cost will be precisely indicated.

RETURNS

You have a 14-day withdrawal period from the delivery of your package to request an exchange, credit, or refund.

For France:

- For an exchange/credit: everything is free (return and delivery of the new package are at our expense)

- For a refund: the return is at your expense

For the rest of the world:

- For an exchange: the return of the package is at your expense and the delivery of the new package is at our expense

Surprisingly, Berber carpets are easy to maintain. Keep in mind that these historically rich pieces are not primarily meant to be decorative objects. Berber women weave and use them as blankets or rugs for insulation. The exceptional quality of the weaving allows Berber carpets to withstand the test of time and age very well.

To maintain it, you can vacuum it once a week at most to avoid damaging the wool. If you can't shake it, turn it over for a few hours once a month to let all deep-seated dust fall out. In case of a stain, pat it immediately with a cloth dampened with water, often that will be sufficient. Otherwise, add some rubbing alcohol or Marseille soap with plenty of water.
