This Berber rug known as Azilal gets its name from the Azilal region in Morocco, where it was handcrafted on a traditional wooden loom. Its patterns represent the moods, loves, and sorrows of the weaver at the time of creation. After creating this colorful Berber rug, she will make another one completely different, based on her current emotions. Each piece is therefore unique.

Our rugs with a white background and colorful designs are always made with a white wool background. The colors can be either cotton or wool. The very bright colors are usually cotton, while the colors with a more natural look are wool. Our fully colored rugs are 100% wool.

DELIVERY

All packages are sent from France. No customs fees for orders placed in a European Union country. For orders outside the EU, customs fees may apply.

We deliver worldwide, and all orders are shipped every 7 to 15 days.

For France: you can choose either delivery to a pickup point with Mondial Relay or home delivery with Colissimo.

For the rest of the world: delivery costs vary by country. Simply add the rug to your cart, enter your address, and the delivery cost will be clearly indicated.

RETURNS

You have a 14-day cooling-off period from the delivery of your package to request an exchange, credit, or refund.

For France:

- For exchange/credit requests: everything is free (return and delivery of the new package are at our expense)

- For refund requests: return shipping is at your expense

For the rest of the world:

Surprisingly, Berber rugs are easy to maintain. It's important to remember that these historically significant pieces are not primarily intended for decoration. Berber women weave and use them as blankets or rugs for insulation. The exceptional weaving quality allows Berber rugs to last a long time and age very well.

To maintain it, you can vacuum it once a week at most to avoid damaging the wool. If you can't shake it, turn it over for a few hours once a month to remove deep-seated dust. In case of a stain, tap it immediately with a cloth soaked in water; often, this is sufficient. Otherwise, add some alcohol vinegar or Marseille soap with plenty of water.
