This Berber rug called Mrirt gets its name from the region of Mrirt in Morocco where it was handcrafted on a traditional wooden loom. Its patterns represent the moods, loves, and sorrows of the weaver at the time of its creation. All packages are sent from France. No customs fees are expected for orders placed in a European Union country. For orders placed in a non-EU country, customs fees may apply.

Surprisingly, Berber rugs are easy to maintain. It should be kept in mind that these pieces full of history are not primarily intended to be a decorative object. Berber women weave and use them as blankets or rugs for insulation. The exceptional quality of the weaving allows Berber rugs to stand the test of time and age very well.
To maintain it, you can vacuum it once a week at most to avoid agitating the wool. If you can't shake it, turn it over for a few hours once a month, all deep-seated dust will fall off. In case of a stain, tap it immediately with a cloth soaked in water, often this is sufficient. Otherwise, add some white vinegar or Marseille soap with plenty of water.
