Keep in mind that these pieces steeped in history are not primarily intended to be decorative objects. Berber women weave and use them as blankets or rugs for insulation. The exceptional quality of the weaving allows Berber carpets to last over time and age very well. To maintain it, you can vacuum it once a week at most to avoid damaging the wool. If you cannot shake it, turn it upside down for a few hours once a month, all deep-seated dust will fall off. In case of a stain, pat it immediately with a cloth soaked in water, often that is sufficient. Otherwise, add some alcohol vinegar or Marseille soap with plenty of water.Learn more
