This Berber rug called Azilal gets its name from the Azilal region in Morocco where it was handcrafted on a traditional wooden loom. Its patterns represent the moods, loves, and sorrows of the weaver at the time of its creation. Once this colorful Berber rug is created, she will craft another one completely different, based on her emotions of the moment. Each piece is therefore unique.

Our rugs with a white background and colored designs always have a white wool background. The colors can be either in cotton or wool. The very bright colors are generally in cotton and the colors with a more natural look are in wool. Our fully colored rugs are 100% wool.

DELIVERY

All packages are sent from France. No customs fees are expected for orders placed in a European Union country. For orders placed in a non-EU country, customs fees may apply.

We deliver worldwide, and all orders are shipped every 7 to 15 days.

For France: you can choose either delivery to a pickup point with Mondial Relay or home delivery with Colissimo.

For the rest of the world: the delivery cost varies by country. Simply add the rug to your cart, enter your address, and the delivery cost will be precisely indicated.

RETURNS

You have a 14-day cooling-off period from the delivery of your package to request an exchange, credit, or refund.

For France:

- If you want an exchange/credit: everything is free (return and delivery of the new package are at our expense)

- If you want a refund: the return is at your expense

For the rest of the world:

- If you want an exchange: the return of the package is at your expense and the delivery of the new package is at our expense

Surprisingly, Berber rugs are easy to maintain. Keep in mind that these pieces full of history are not primarily meant to be decorative objects. Berber women weave and use them as blankets or rugs for insulation. The exceptional quality of the weaving allows Berber rugs to withstand the test of time and age very well.

To maintain it, you can vacuum it once a week at most to avoid aggressing the wool. If you can't shake it, turn it over for a few hours once a month, and all deep-seated dust will fall out. In case of a stain, pat it immediately with a cloth soaked in water, often this is enough. Otherwise, add some alcohol vinegar or Marseille soap with plenty of water.
